ReplyDeleteFor instance, where she write, "I roast a chicken alone, on a Sunday and hold in the memories of the dinners I laid down on our mahogany table with its gold inlaid border that had begun to show the table's age-now gone-like all Sunday dinners...."
It's marvelous and touching to see how you wrap the relationship into the cooking and how both are so intimate.
