The lovely Cheryl of CMash Loves to Read has featured me today, this Sunday, May 29, 2011, in her "Shining Star" feature. Cheryl is a book blogger and she reads hundreds of books and chooses the ones she loves. I am deeply honored to be on this lovely site with so many followers.
Thank you, Cheryl. I am calling her today "the angel on my shoulder," as she has discovered me and my memoir (Re)Making Love: a sex after sixty story.
And get this, friends, new and old alike, I will be her featured author on June 20, 2011. So check back again for more.
Here, Cheryl, for you, is one my flowers:
Hi Mary! Congrats on being a star! You are an inspiration! I am a new follower. I would love to read your book! I am partial to women writers, literary fiction, literary memoirs, and poetry.ReplyDelete

Hi, Gigi Ann,ReplyDelete
You can read my book now. It is on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Thank you so much for visiting here and for following. I am off to your blog.
From my heart to yours,
Mary, I just followed your blog. I'm excited to read your posts. Congratulations on being featured! What an honor! You are on an exciting journey!ReplyDelete
So are you (on an exciting journey), Erin. So glad you found me on Twitter. That is the most generous social network, don't you think? And I learn so much and have made incredible "virtual" friends.ReplyDelete
Erin, I take guest bloggers. You might want to download the Kindle sample of my book to see what my book is like and discover that it is NOT erotica though I do deal with the subject of s--. And you have been through a divorce and remade love. We did this differently, I suspect, but I also suspect we have much in common.
I do circle on this blog around the literary. I'm not a book reviewer but I did, for instance, review Molly Peacock's new book because it blew me away.
You could write about what you read and why. Your 10 favorite books and I could be in conversation with you about any I might have read.
Or suggest something to me and I'll feature you.
Think about it? My e-mail address is on my website.
I will definitely think about it, Mary! That sounds like it would be fun and interesting. Our company is in the middle of shooting a movie so I am busy beyond belief right now but I think it would be fun to do in my "down time"!ReplyDelete
